Match Report
Last minute goal snatches 3 points from Four Marks
Four marks
started brightly and at pace
and took the game to andover in the early moments.
Four Marks took the lead after about 10 minutes after a weak shot by Graham Purser was fumbled by the andover keeper into the path of Rob Shanley who finished to make it 1-0.
This inspired the home team and woke them as they slowly came back into the game and leveled shortly before half time.
HT 1-1
Four Marks started the second half slowly and the home side were getting in behind there backline and creating chances only a combination of good keeping by Joe Brock and poor finishing kept the score level.
Four Marks slowly started to fight back and there were half chances for warwick and reffell before Graham Purser was fouled in the box allowing Tom Reffell to convert from the spot to make it 2-1.
The last 10- 15 minutes were nearly all Andover with Four Marks trying to hold onto the 3 points. Disaster struck when in the 97th minute (after the referee has clearly stated there would be a maximum of 2 minutes added on) some slack defending allowed a Andover player to much space on the edge of the box and he crossed dangerously for the unlucky James Chuter to force the ball into his own net. 2-2
